Engineering and Manufacturing Background

Kevin Knarr is the owner and lead engineer of Knarrly Engineering (hence the name). Kevin has an M.S. and B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles and was named "Mechanical Engineer Student of the Year" his senior year. He recieved his masters in 2007 and since then has been working for NASA* at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory*. Kevin also has machine shop experience (including welding) from his time building mini baja off-road vehicles for school competitions. One summer, as an apprentice, he helped build and install high-end custom wooden cabinets and tables. He has expertise in several different 3D modeling programs as well as printing and assembling 3D printed parts. He can perform mechanical and thermal analysis and has created close to 1000 engineering drawings using current geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards (GD&T).
